They shared stories about Modjeska, and students of the school talked about what they learned. It was a moving and inspiring evening.<\/p>\n<p>Proceeds from the benefit will go to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scpronet.com\">SC Progressive Network<\/a>&#8216;s new <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scpronet.com\/modjeskaschool\/\">Modjeska School<\/a>. The future of the school looks bright. Plans are under development to raise funds to purchase the building next to the Modjeska Simkins House, where the Network has its offices.
