After moving our offices into Modjeska Simkins’ historic home in 2009, the SC Progressive Network began throwing a party on her birthday, a tradition we’ve maintained every year since.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

So we regret that this year we will not be toasting her memory with a glass of her favorite port \u2014 at least not as a group. We encourage you to do so on your own.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pour yourself a glass of port, or your favorite beverage, and take a little time to remember her remarkable life and legacy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
